Too busy to work on my site lately, as usual. I did however post a favicon.ico today, the first variation. It is the little graphic you see in the location bar, to the left of “http:” … I admit it sucks, but it will motivate me to improve it, and it’s not a microsoft brand now.
On a side note, of course related to google, my website - arts-link has just had a major jump in search results rankings thanks to a major change in the way the galleries were set up. They used to have generic headers in the title bar on every page, just saying arts-link dhtml gallery or some such thing, now they dynamically generate to put the artist name and gallery there.
The result of these changes is that a search on the artists name now brings up there arts-link.com gallery as the top search result. (except rudy ernst, because I had to make some changes and he used to be labeled by his aliases othmar).
Here are the google #1 results…
This is good, it means google is indexing the site more frequently which will hopefully lead to some more / new traffic to the site.
