I have not had too much meta data to report recently, as I have been very busy working on updates for various client web sites, as well as developing a new product with my friends at start up cenozoa… i will hopefully finish designing the new site in the next week and my goal is an initial integration launch on my birthday 12/14. In the mean time here is a very useful page, just change the state= at the end of the url, to your state and you can find who your Congresspeople are for the 107th congress. This ad is reminiscent of the Mr. Sparkle add from the simpsons. Crazy japanese flash ad.

Fred Langa says “some command-line knowledge is a good thing and can help you get the most from a Windows PC”, and I agree with him. Read this article to get yourself started.DOS Tips and Tricks
the idea of a computer that could “pull itself up by its own bootstraps” was once a novel idea. In fact, when this system of self-starting was first invented, it was called “bootstrapping,” which later got shortened to “booting.” (And that’s where that familiar bit of computer jargon comes from.)… trust me it’s good stuff.

I have begun to focus on redesign and reorganization of my the various entities under this domain, right now it is a bit confusing and fragmented. The current structure contains my personal site, this links site, and a dog pictures page (with no recent content). The personal site has a contact form and my skills / resume, as well as my portfolio - which has not been updated since leaving Iguana. The plan is to build a new site, that will incorporate my links, with this site as the site update page to keep myself clear about all the changes i plan to make and do make, and the links site continuing as an internet playground / media links site. The two new content silo’s will be a photography section and a section for my consulting business. In the future I also hope to add a knowledge base to the site.

It was in developing the site for my consulting business that I realized it could be good to bring this all under one umbrella with a common navigation structure and design elements. I have started working on a structure of the navigation. I could not find a suitable xml dtd to use so I started working on my own. I call it snn, and I will discuss it more once more of the structure is in place. The main structure of the site is to be determined, but I will keep this blog up to date with the changes as i progress.
